The Witch and The Groom (poem)

A woman like no other

Very unique and pure

Not accepted by his mother,

Their love will endure,

Invitations have been sent

Deception soon will invade their life

Because no one will attend,

They fear the witch, the evil wife

The groom won’t pick another

He finds them all immature,

Not suitable for a lover

He tells the witch, “I am only yours”

Day and night the mother wept

A malicious plan revealed her eye

And behind the witch, she crept

Ripping her skin with a sharp knife
